How can I be done with my Ph.D and still feel like I'm behind? Everything else was supposed to come crashing to a halt and I was supposed to go to Argentina or Italy or something with not a care in the world! Even so, it is soooo great to be done!

I do my part to subvert the patrilineal paradigm. I don't think feminism is about doing things that have always oppressed us only now we're "choosing" it. I like red and orange, and believe that Ms. Magazine saved my life in 1990. What most people think is funny I often think is sad. I like underdogs and the people who root for them.
